Aman Set to Make Its Mark in Niseko with Their Fourth Luxury Resort in Japan

Home to the famous powder snow and magnificent mountain sceneries, more and more vacationers choose to spend their winter in the charming wonderland of Niseko, making it one of the top destinations in Hokkaido. This is why international hotel chain Aman has chosen it as home to its fourth luxury hotel in Japan. Scheduled to open in 2023, this much-anticipated Niseko property is set to become the hotel group’s first spa and wellness resort in Japan.

Aman Niseko is located on the slopes of Mount Moiwa, one of the town’s most picturesque places. The property sprawls 187 hectares, with 30 guest rooms that promise a luxurious sense of serenity and exclusivity. Just like all of Aman’s luxury properties in Japan, Aman Niseko is designed by Kerry Hill Architects. The hotel is designed to complement its natural mountain setting. It will feature an overall contemporary architectural style, with hints of traditional Hokkaido motifs seamlessly mixed into its modern aesthetic.

The luxurious Niseko property is conceptualized as a retreat for all seasons. Taking advantage of its strategic address, Aman Niseko will be a gateway to Niseko’s popular outdoor adventures. It will provide access to winter activities like snowboarding and skiing, as well as must-do summer adventures like river rafting.

Aman Niseko will feature facilities that are dedicated to wellness and healing. The Aman Spa offers guests a sanctuary for relaxing and rejuvenating both body and mind. The hotel will also house indoor and outdoor onsens, saunas, steam rooms, Watsu chambers, and experience showers.

Providing guests with culinary indulgence, Aman Niseko will have two fine dining restaurants. Aman’s own dining concept Arva will serve Italian specialties, and the other dining outlet will offer Japanese culinary favorites.

Other hotel amenities include a two-story kids’ club specially made for families traveling with children. The hotel’s main pavilion also houses a sophisticated living room, a bar, whiskey and cigar lounge, and a private dining room. It will also feature a library, ski retail area, ski lockers, a boutique, and a gallery.
