The Peninsula Paris

Indulge in one of Paris’s most luxurious hotels, The Peninsula Paris is everything you can ever imagine of the perfect historic hotel with all the touches of modern elegance and legendary service.

Offering the finest comforts, spectacular terraces and gardens, breathtaking skyline views, and amenities that are the true meaning of luxury, this perfectly located hotel in the heart of Paris will take your breath away.

About the Hotel: The hotel was opened in 1908 and formerly known as Hotel Majestic. Over the years, the building had been transformed into a government building, a hospital, and today, after being meticulously restored in 2014, it became one of the metropolitan city’s iconic gems.

Historical facts of the building include the salon, which is the hotel’s Le Bar Kiebler today, being the setting of The Paris Peace Accords, wherein Henry Kissinger negotiated the end of the Vietnam War in 1973. The hotel was also where American literary George Gershwin wrote his famous book, “An American in Paris.”

There are 200 luxurious rooms and suites, with each one offering a separate dressing area, expansive wardrobe space, spacious marble bathrooms with rain shower and bathtubs that feature inset TVs and bathroom amenities from luxury fashion label, Oscar dela Renta.

All rooms are styled in tones of cream and grey, finished off with high-end furnishings and details. Room sizes range from 30-40 square meters to the most spacious accommodation of the Peninsula Suite featuring 318 square meters of space.

Experiences: Relax and unwind in the heart of Paris at the hotel’s spa, fitness center, and 22-meter indoor pool, offering the perfect way to begin or end a long and unforgettable day in the City of Lights.

For dining options, 6 venues are on offer, highlighted by the rooftop restaurant featuring 360 views of the Parisian skyline, including that of the Eiffel Tower.

The Peninsula Academy is one of the hotel’s most prized features. Carefully designed to provide guests with unique experiences, the program includes historical, cultural, and shopping experiences that are truly unprecedented.

The program includes private tours to vineyards, with options to travel in a helicopter, Rolls Royce Phantom, or BMW; private shopping experiences where a personal shopper is provided and a boutique is opened an hour early for you; chocolate-making classes with the hotel’s pastry chef for kids; a tour at the Palace Versailles; and a number of other experiences that are uniquely Parisian.

The Peninsula Paris offers accommodation and experiences unlike any other – indulge in the real essence of Parisian style, all under the roof of a beautifully restored historical Paris building located in the very heart of the French capital. (paris.peninsula.com)
