The firm’s latest project, Clearness and Serenity, showcases its prowess in crafting functional, luxurious, and visually stunning interiors. Commissioned by a family seeking a spacious and cohesive living environment, the design highlights the expansive views from their high-floor residence. With a focus on a large kitchen for the mother, an enthusiastic cook, the open-plan design integrates the kitchen effortlessly with the dining and living areas, ensuring a comfortable and spacious experience for the entire family.
Breaking away from traditional Taiwanese layouts, the design transformed two children’s rooms into space-efficient bunk beds. Each bunk bed level has its own wardrobe, substantial windows with expansive views, and seating areas of 150 cm high. The terrace offers a private open-air bath with a steel bathtub that doubles as an outdoor table. Prioritizing safety and comfort, the design incorporates rounded details to prevent injuries and iron windows crafted by a local artist that features the children’s drawings.
Custom wooden pieces, Cassina’s classic furniture, and thorough attention to detail foster the sophisticated and harmonious atmosphere of this project. In the living room, a structural beam is cleverly concealed within a sculpted ceiling, integrating air vents and lighting to balance the beam’s presence.
The study area features a custom wooden shelf with edge panels reflecting the ceiling’s curves, adding a unique element to the home. Hidden storage solutions as well as a humidity-controlled pantry, enhance both convenience and luxury to the home.
Emphasizing minimalist and understated luxury, the penthouse design employs simple decorations and gentle spatial forms, complemented by custom-made furniture to create an almost artistic environment. The residence’s atmosphere evolves throughout the day, encapsulating the core concept of clearness and serenity.
