inT Design was established in 2010 by renowned designer Jacky Lee who wanted to set up his own studio with the goal of creating unique homes to add style and comfort to people’s lives. Over the past 10 years, the Hong Kong-based company prides itself on having created an extensive portfolio of work including private homes and office spaces. Projects managed by Jacky Lee and his team also include interior design and renovation of commercial spaces for world-famous brands such as PRADA, Dr. View Medical, and Carhartt Work In Progress.

These outstanding achievements are a result of their commitment to technical excellence and innovation as well as close attention to the needs and tastes of every customer. This is perfectly illustrated in the interior design for Tierra Verde, a luxury apartment on Tsing Yi Island near Villa Esplanada. The apartment embodies everything the young client wished for from their living space.
The interior of the three-bedroom apartment is designed in a Scandinavian style which, despite its inherent minimalism, also offers warmth and coziness throughout. The clever use of space carefully considered color combinations and close attention to detail that provide the perfect balance between the style and functionality of the home.
The owners explained their love of entertaining friends and the need for a spacious living area. As a result, this space was significantly increased by removing the corridor and the dining room was located by a large window to make the most of the stunning view. For flexibility and to ensure effective use of space, a retractable dining table was installed. By moving the dining room to the window, the designers were able to create a bar area with a counter and wine rack in its previous location, perfect for serving drinks to friends.
When it came to choosing the wall color the specialists at inT Design were led by the sources and nature of the natural light as well as the proportions of the space. Black, white, and grey were chosen as the main colors, a combination chosen to ensure a feeling of warmth throughout. Wood and marble elements were added to the finish of the bar and cabinets to enrich their visual impact. And finally, gold and steel framing of chandeliers and door handles add a touch of sophistication and elegance to the apartment. Finishing touches completed the look that fully embraces the owner’s wish for their dream home.
