Vietnam Dips into the Luxury Yacht Industry with Ana Marina Nha Trang

Ana Marina is Vietnam’s very first international marina. Located in Nha Trang on the southeast coast of Vietnam, Ana Marina is the country’s first world-class marina, having the capacity of 60 berths on its initial stage, with the goal of hosting 220 yachts once the project is fully complete.

With Vietnam fast becoming one of Asia’s top luxury destinations, it’s no surprise Nha Trang’s Ana Marina is soon to serve up some serious world-class indulgence and convenience for the yachting community of Vietnam and the rest of the world.

Aside from Nha Trang, another popular yachting destination in Vietnam that made it to our list of Top Yachting Destinations in Asia is the limestone pillar-dotted, majestic waters of  Ha Long Bay; a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The opening of Vietnam’s new marina further displays the increasing popularity of yachting in the east following the launching of other luxury marinas including the newly-unveiled Crossroads, the first luxury marina in Maldives.

Design and Features

Berths at Ana Marina Yacht Club

The marina’s design was developed by Camper and Nicholsons Marina, a top design and management team specializing in marina design and operation. The company is one of the most prestigious marina designers in the field having worked on some of the world’s best marinas. Along with other world-class engineers and consultants, the developers were able to create a marina basin designed to wither all weather conditions while keeping yachts safe and secure in their berths.

Meeting all international standards, the concrete floating pontoon system is supplied by Marinetek of Finland, creating the distinctive berthing formation of the marina. Different sizes of berths are available for all types of boats, from dinghies to superyachts, and catamarans. Each berth is equipped with enough power and water supply and access to pump-out stations. Water and power consumption will also be monitored by digital metering, making billing easy and convenient.

Other facilities of the marina include 24-hour security and CCTV, slipway, hoist dock, and boatyard; services for yacht repair and maintenance; waste disposal and recycling; chandlery and convenience store; as well as a yacht club with restaurants and a bar.

Amenities and Facilities

As yachting is fairly new to Vietnam, the supercomplex marina is set to position the country in becoming a top yachting destination in the region. Aside from the berths and boat dock, the marina also provides a slew of entertainment and lifestyle offerings.

The marina features a variety of water sports activities guests can enjoy, which include swimming and diving lessons; flyboarding and paragliding; and even banana boat rides and jet ski island tours. It also features its very own Flow House, which allows participants to surf or skim on an artificial wave, making it the perfect alternative to actually surfing out at sea.

The marina is also home to a swimming pool, gym, fitness center, and spa, allowing guests to enjoy the amenities while keeping fit and healthy. And speaking of healthy, a good number of restaurants can also be found within the marina complex.

Situated right beside the Yacht Club Bar, Ana Marina’s Marine Pool is the perfect spot to relax and cool down

There are currently three restaurant areas: The Wheel House, which serves international and local cuisine; The Club House, which offers lunch and dinner in a luxurious setting and with both Asian and Western cuisine offerings; and the Surf Bar, which serves cocktails and juices by the poolside.

Classy and luxurious architecture and styling, The Club House restaurant offers a picturesque view of the Nha Trang Bay while you enjoy your meal

With a world-class development, berthing amenities that meet international standards, and a superplex that hosts plenty of dining and entertainment facilities, Ana Marina is sure to become one of Southeast Asia’s premier yachting destinations for years to come.
